The four projects will be carried out across 15.4 hectares.
The projects include the 200 million USD Hanwha Aero Engines plant by Hanwha Techwin Co., Ltd from the Republic of Korea. The firm is planning to increase its investment to 260 million USD by 2021.
Meanwhile, procedures are underway for two projects developed by Japanese NIDEC Group at 400 million USD so they can become operational in the first quarter of 2019.
Currently, the park is home to 83 projects with total registered capital of 3.4 billion USD.
Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park, approved in 1998, is the first and the largest high-tech facility in Vietnam, spanning 1,586 hectares. It is expected to become a model science space and a national hub for technology development and application.
Core hi-tech fields in the park include information and technology, communication, electronics, biology, new materials and energies.
Last year, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc inked a decree stipulating some preferential mechanisms and policies for Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park to extricate difficulties and attract investment./.
