Tay Ninh to have 540 cooperativesby the end of 2025

Phuoc Hoa Safe Vegetable Cooperative (Long Cang Commune, Tay Ninh Province) is constantly building its brand and providing quality products to the market

According to the report of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, it is estimated that by December 31, 2025, the whole province will have 540 cooperatives with nearly 94,000 members, reaching 100% of the plan (of which 478 cooperatives are operating, 62 cooperatives have ceased operations). During the year, 32 new cooperatives were established, an increase of 2 cooperatives compared to the plan.

The fields of operation of cooperatives are quite diverse such as: agricultural services (plowing land, pumping water, harvesting rice, etc.); buying and selling agricultural materials and agricultural products; participating in production (safe vegetables, rice seeds, rice for meat, dragon fruit, lime, taro, raising livestock and poultry).

Most cooperatives act as a bridge for members to provide services such as providing seeds, crops, agricultural materials, etc., sharing production techniques, linking production, processing and consuming products.

The average revenue of a cooperative is 5.81 billion VND/year, up 1% over the same period. The average income of a regular worker in a cooperative is 79 million VND/year, up 5% over the same period./.
