Final Part: The Aspiration of the Vam River
Tay Ninh is expected to become a key growth pole of the Southern Key Economic Region—a standout in clean industrial development, high-tech agriculture, trade, tourism, and an international commercial gateway for both the Southeast region and the nation.

Tay Ninh remains committed to standing alongside businesses and investors, listening to their needs and ensuring the most favourable conditions for trade promotion and expanded cooperation
Standing together, listening, and accompanying
Speaking at the 2025 Tay Ninh Conference on Supply Chain Connectivity for Import–Export Goods and E-commerce, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut affirmed: “The province is committed to standing side by side with enterprises and investors, listening to them and creating the most favourable conditions for trade promotion, cooperation expansion, and business development. We are building a transparent, business-friendly investment environment that supports sustainable growth—together, building a prosperous, dynamic, and globally integrated Tay Ninh. ‘One swallow does not make a spring’; lasting and prosperous economic development requires the companionship and collective effort of the business community and investors at home and abroad.”
This is not the first time Mr. Nguyen Van Ut has reiterated the province’s commitment to supporting investors and enterprises. This stance has been repeatedly affirmed and consistently implemented for many years. Thanks to this unwavering approach, Tay Ninh’s investment environment has steadily improved. In 2024, Tay Ninh ranked 3rd nationwide in the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) and was listed among the top 10 most attractive localities for large enterprises by Vietnam Report.
Regarding its economic scale, Tay Ninh’s GRDP in 2025 is estimated at more than VND 352 trillion, with growth projected at 9.3%, placing it among the 10 provinces with the largest economic scale nationwide. The province is now home to more than 37,000 operating enterprises with a total registered capital of over VND 912 trillion; more than 3,000 DDI projects with nearly VND 689 trillion in capital; and 1,892 FDI projects worth more than USD 24 billion. Tay Ninh currently has 46 industrial parks and 50 industrial clusters covering over 17,000 hectares, of which more than 1,000 hectares of clean, ready-to-use land is available for investors.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, Tran Huu Hau, noted: “In 2025, the province’s import–export sector is set to maintain its impressive growth momentum. In October 2025, import–export turnover is estimated at USD 2,568 million; exports reached USD 1,487 million, up 3.48% year-on-year, while imports stood at USD 1,079 million, up 3.06%. Cumulatively, 10-month exports reached USD 14,550 million, up 8.91%, fulfilling 81.74% of the annual plan; imports reached USD 11,028 million, up 14.08%, meeting 88.23% of the plan. Many local enterprises have boldly expanded onto major e-commerce platforms such as Alibaba, Lazada, Shopee, Tiki, Voso, and Postmart—bringing OCOP specialties, processed agricultural products, and Tay Ninh goods closer to consumers at home and abroad. To date, over 35 enterprises have received support to enter domestic and international e-commerce platforms, alongside assistance in website development, brand identity, and promotional videos—enhancing the image of Tay Ninh products in the marketplace. These achievements result from the close leadership of the Provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee and the strong coordination of provincial departments and agencies.”
Shared Responsibility
Tay Ninh’s strategic geographic location—serving as a key gateway to Cambodia and the broader Southeast Asian region while bordering the Southern Key Economic Zone—gives it a unique competitive edge. Its well-developed infrastructure, from the Long An International Port to inter-regional transport networks, creates maximum convenience for import–export activities. The province also boasts diverse export sectors—from agriculture and fisheries to textiles, footwear, and industrial goods—meeting the needs of international markets. However, sustainable and prosperous economic development requires the collective effort and shared responsibility of the business community and investors, both at home and abroad.
Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Quyet stated: “To build on what we have achieved and fully harness our potential and advantages, the province continues to embrace the principle of ‘cooperation, partnership, and mutual development with enterprises—your success is our success’. We are committed to providing all necessary conditions, opportunities, and a favourable environment so that investors can feel secure in investing, expanding, and accompanying the province over the long term. Tay Ninh looks forward to continued support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, diplomatic missions, trade promotion organisations, and the business community to help the province grow even stronger—toward shared cooperation and shared success.”
Assessing Tay Ninh’s potential and strengths, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang emphasised: “In the coming period, the province must proactively renew itself, enhance enterprise capacity, diversify export markets, further develop modern infrastructure and logistics, promote digital transformation and e-commerce, and strengthen public–private and international cooperation. I firmly believe that with the dedicated efforts of local authorities, the unity of the business community, and the support of the Government—especially the Ministry of Industry and Trade—Tay Ninh will continue to advance robustly, becoming a leading exporter in the Mekong Delta region and a major international trade gateway of the Southeast region and the nation.”./.
