IBM Vietnam welcomes new general director

Mr. Tan Jee Toon, with 25 years of experience in information technology, has held various important positions of IBM in the Asian – Pacific region

With 25 years of experience in information technology, Mr. Tan Jee Toon has worked in leading positions in many branches of IBM. He has great contributed to the implementation of various IBM’s products and solutions, especially strategic innovations regarding cloud computing, cognitive computing, big data, and data analysis solutions.

He has also actively supported creative digitization processes of IBM’s customers in the whole Asian – Pacific region.

Mr. Tan Jee Toon used to be the General Director of IBM Vietnam in the period from 2013 – 2015, and now returns to the same position after playing the role of Director of IBM’s Cloud Computing and Software Solutions in the Asian – Pacific region, sited in Singapore.

In this new term, Mr. Tan Jee Toon said he will continue to reinforce and foster the cooperative relationship between IBM and the Vietnamese government, as well as other customers. Simultaneously, he will boost the company’s support to domestic businesses as to breakthrough technologies like artificial intelligence, cloud computing, block chain, and security solutions./.
