Long An is in top 10 localities attracting large enterprises in 2024
Long An has clear competitive advantages, such as favorable investment environment, strategic geographical location, effective business support policies and administrative reforms. The province is a key link in the trade and freight transport system between provinces, regions and internationally. The province currently has 19,515 domestic enterprises registered with a total capital of 392,709 billion VND; 2,250 domestic projects with registered capital of 474,578.3 billion VND; 1,377 FDI projects with registered investment capital of nearly 12.6 billion USD, of which 635 projects are in operation, with a total capital of over 4.2 billion USD. The province is also in the top 10 localities attracting FDI in the country.
In addition, Long An has made a breakthrough from 10th place in the PCI rankings in 2022 to 2nd place in 2023 and achieving the highest score ever (increased 8 places). Regarding the Provincial Green Index (PGI) 2023, Long An also made a breakthrough when it increased by 16 places compared to 2022 and ranked 12th.
