At the meeting, the two sides discussed and agreed on the content of coordinating to carry out the task of searching and gathering the remains of martyrs of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Cambodia in Svay Rieng province. Accordingly, the two delegations agreed to continue coordinating to carry out tasks in the coming time.

Since 2001, through more than 22 stages, Team K73 of Long An Provincial Military Command has coordinated to search and collect 1,933 sets of remains and 5 mass graves (about 230 remains of martyrs) in Svay Rieng province. That result has confirmed the close coordination between Steering Committee 515 of Long An province and Svay Rieng province.

The meeting agrees on the content of coordination in carrying out the task of searching and gathering the remains of martyrs of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Cambodia in Svay Rieng province.

Referring to the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia, the Governor of Svay Rieng province expressed his deep gratitude to the Vietnamese people who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation so that the Cambodian people can have peace and prosperity.

At the same time, the governor said that Svay Rieng province will promote propaganda among the people to provide information about Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who sacrificed their lives in Cambodia.
