In 2023, in the context of fluctuating, complex, and unpredictable world's socio-economic and political situation, the Party Committee, government and people of Long An province have made efforts and promoted their self-reliance to achieve many positive and comprehensive results. Of which, economic growth reached 5.77% (higher than the national average of 5.2%); The scale of the economy ranks 13th in the country; Budget revenue reached more than 20,950 billion VND (exceeding the estimate assigned by the Central Government and the Provincial People's Council); FDI attraction ranked top 10 in the country; The investment environment is increasingly improving (Provincial Competitiveness Index ranked 10th, Administrative reform index ranked 8th nationalwide).
