At the Long An bridge point, Deputy Head of Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department - Tran Hoang Nhan and representatives of leaders of departments, branches, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and socio-political organizations attended the conference.

The conference deployed to the delegates the contents of Project 01, setting out specific measures and goals expressing the views, principles as well as requirements of the Politburo and the Secretariat relating to the Party's foreign affairs with focused solutions for specific groups.

The general goal of this Project is to improve the quality and effectiveness of the Party's foreign relations and works, promote achievements and experience, overcome limitations, and create a transformation in Party foreign affairs and relations.

Regarding Directive No. 12 on strengthening the Party's leadership and improving the effectiveness of people's foreign affairs in the new situation, the Secretariat requests party committees, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations to People's associations and organizations perform well the tasks related to People's foreign affairs, continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, and constantly improve the effectiveness of People's foreign affairs according to the motto " Proactive, flexible, creative, effective".

On this occasion, the conference also informed about the results of our country's Party's foreign affairs work over the past 10 years, contributing to creating consensus and high political determination in deploying, implementing, and promoting the combined strength of the entire political system, closely combining Party diplomacy, State diplomacy, and foreign policy, building comprehensive and modern diplomatic relations.

The conference aims to improve the quality and effectiveness of the Party's foreign relations and the guiding role of foreign affairs in planning policies, guidelines and decisions on important foreign affairs issues.

At the same time, it raises awareness, creates unity of will and action throughout the Party and consensus among the people to improve the effectiveness of the Party's foreign relations to meet the requirements of comprehensively promoting innovating and firmly protecting the Fatherland./.
