Industrial production in the first quarter developed stably with the index of industrial production increasing by 7.44% over the same period; in which the manufacturing industry increased by 7.55%. Trade and service activities in the province continue to develop strongly; total retail sales of goods and services in the first quarter increased by 9.52% over the same period. Total state budget revenue in the first quarter reached over 5,100 billion VND, reaching 26.1% of the central estimate, 25% of the provincial estimate, a decrease of 25.7% over the same period,etc.

Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut emphasized that the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in the first quarter still has certain difficulties and shortcomings. He proposed to complete the report, which clearly and specifically evaluates the shortcomings and inadequacies in order to have a direction to overcome; assigned the Office of the Provincial People's Committee to coordinate with relevant sectors to urgently complete the report on the implementation of the socio-economic development plan in the first quarter of 2023 and the direction and tasks of socio-economic development in the second quarter of 2023 to submit to the Provincial People's Committee to sign and promulgate officially.
