Deputy Director of Long An Department of Industry and Trade - Chau Thi Le shared that Long An has a special position as the gateway to the Mekong Delta region. In recent years, enterprises in Long An have developed rapidly and promoted production activities, contributing to the industrial production value as well as the economic growth of the province. Goods of enterprises in Long An are promoted for export as well as for domestic consumption.

Long An currently has many supermarkets, malls and convenience stores, it is expected that through this conference, products from Lam Dong will be connected with distribution and retail businesses in Long An.

At the conference, there were 17 businesses and production facilities from Lam Dong promoting and displaying products such as dong quai ginseng, macadamia nuts, dried vegetables and fruits, tea, coffee, cordyceps, assorted confectionery, massage essential oils, dried agricultural products of all kinds.

The two Departments of Industry and Trade sign a memorandum of understanding on commercial cooperation

According to Deputy Director of Lam Dong Department of Industry and Trade - Nguyen Van Khanh, over the past time, Lam Dong has focused in building brands and trademarks for goods. Lam Dong currently has 416 typical rural industrial products and 181 OCOP products. In particular, Lam Dong has 768 products from Da Lat soil. However, these products' potential and strengths have not been fully exploited in commercial development, and have not been widely distributed to distributors and retailers in the market, especially in the southern region. This meeting is expected to help connect to the retail system in Long An province.

At the conference, there were 37 memorandums of understanding on cooperation and trade connection signed between enterprises of the two provinces./.
