Long An Customs fulfills 100 percent revenue target

Long An province’s Customs Agency has reported that its budget revenue reached VND 2,308 billion from the beginning of the year until November 15, an increase of 16 percent compared to the same period in 2017.

These lucrative results are attributed to many reasons including drastic administrative reform and suddenly high income from export import businesses

That is equivalent to 100.3 percent and 99.5 percent compared to the target assigned by the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Vietnam Customs respectively.

Budget revenue posted a year on year increase of 16 percent to reach VND 2,011 billion in Long An province and 18 percent to hit VND 297 billion in Tien Giang province.

These lucrative results are attributed to many reasons including drastic administrative reform and suddenly high income from export import businesses, said Deputy Director of Long An Customs Department Nguyen Van Khanh.

In addition, the increase of revenue is also derived from some new projects and some enterprises who have returned to Long An to do customs procedures instead of doing that in other localities as they used to./.
