Long An: Enterprises in industrial zones grow export and import turnover
From the beginning of the year until now, the results of production and business activities of enterprises in industrial parks in Long An province have had many positive changes, growing quite well over the same period in 2018. Accordingly, the first 10 months of 2019 of FDI enterprises reached 1,456 million USD, up 7.47 percent over the same period; DDI enterprises reached 15,752 billion VND, an increase of 6.36 percent over the same period in 2018.
Exports of enterprises in industrial zones increase
In addition, the export turnover of FDI and DDI enterprises reached 1,161 million USD, up 15.16 percent over the same period in 2018. Of which, the FDI sector reached 1,029 million USD, up 16.15 percent over the same period in 2018 and contributed 88.64 percent to the total exports of both FDI and DDI sectors.
Particularly for imports, the import turnover of FDI and DDI enterprises reached 923 million USD, up 3.5 percent over the same period in 2018. Of which, the FDI sector reached 799 million USD, up 2.3 percent over the same period in 2018 and contributed 85.65 percent to the total import turnover of both FDI and DDI sectors./.
