Long An examines people injected vaccine against Covid-19

The Long An People's Committee requests the People's Committees of districts, town and city to immediately review the people vaccinated against Covid-19

Specifically, the People's Committees of communes, wards and townlets urgently review all people aged 18 and older who have not been vaccinated with the 1st and 2nd shot, then organize the injection immediately, in which the following notes are noted:

+ Persons from 18 to 64 years old who have not received the first shot: organize to inject the first shot of AstraZeneca or Verocell vaccine immediately and inject the second shot with the corresponding vaccine;

+ Persons aged 65 years and older, pregnant women from 13 weeks or more, people with underlying medical conditions: organize to inject the 1st shot of Pfizer vaccine immediately and the 2nd shot of Pfizer vaccine when having enough time for the 2nd shot;

+ People who have not had the second shot: If the first shot is given with AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and Vero cell vaccines, then the second shot is injected with the corresponding vaccine, if the 1st shot is injected with the Moderna vaccine, the second shot is with the Pfizer vaccine.

Based on the review of people aged 18 years or older and the number of vaccines allocated, the units propose to add more Covid-19 vaccines or transfer them to other localities, especially vaccines with a short life to ensure timely and effective use of the vaccine, absolutely not to cancel due to expiration, report before 16:00 on November 8, 2021 to the provincial Center for Disease Control, to the Vaccine Coordination Sub-committee.

This official letter also notes that it is absolutely forbidden to arbitrarily use the amount of vaccine that has been allocated for the 3rd shot booster or those who do not have instructions for vaccination against Covid-19. Chairpersons of People's Committees of districts, town and city are responsible to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of vaccination in their respective management areas.

For people from 12-17 years old, localities that do not arbitrarily use Pfizer vaccine are allocated for people aged 18 years and older to vaccinate children under 18 years old.

The province plans to vaccinate 16-17 year olds in November 2021 and gradually expand the people from old to young, the subcommittee on coordination and vaccination will be distributed to localities when approved by the Ministry of Health and the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology to provide appropriate vaccines (Pfizer or Moderna).

The People's Committees of districts, town and city direct the People's Committees, police, commune health stations, wards and townships to make a list of 12-17 year olds, confirm their identity and provide identification codes (for children aged 12-17), do not have a citizen identity card or still use an identity card), and guide parents to use this citizen ID or identification number to register for the Covid-19 vaccine for their children according to the regulations regulation.

Assign the Department of Health (provincial Center for Disease Control) to act as the focal unit and urge the People's Committees of districts, town and city to implement; summarize the results of the implementation to report to the Provincial People's Committee in the daily report./.
