Long An fines 40 agricultural material production facilities

Since the beginning of 2018, Long An authorities have examined 169 agricultural material production and trading facilities. Accordingly, 40 facilities have been violated the trading regulation such as not to meet guarantee trading conditions, having incorrect production labels, and showing low quality products.

Besides, the authorities confiscated 16 rice varieties, 35 types of fertilizer for quality tests. The test results revealed that 2/16 rice varieties did not meet quality requirements as stipulated in National Technical Regulations on rice variety quality; 17/35 types of fertilizer did not reach quality requirement in accordance with common rules.

The authorities have collected a total fine of over VND230 million./.
