Long An launches Intelligent Operation Center and Provincial Shared Database Depot

This launching ceremony is an event that proves Resolution 21-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on digital transformation has step by step put into practice

Up to now, the Center has operated 9 intelligent monitoring services to help provincial leaders, leaders of sectors and levels improve operating quality; put 12 groups of shared data of 6 departments and branches into the shared database of the province. Currently, the depot has collected more than 2 million data files from the fields of environmental resources, education, healthcare and businesses.

According to the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – Pham Tan Hoa, the function of the IOC Center and the Shared Database Depot is to collect, store, synthesize and analyze information in all fields to help provincial leaders and all levels to monitor, administer, and support decision-making for activities of the province, department, sector and locality.

The Shared Database Depot is built on modern technology platforms to help people and businesses access information, data and smart services quickly and economically; affirm the central role of people and businesses through reflecting and monitoring government activities through digital applications and other interactive channels in the digital environment.

The completion of the IOC Center, the Shared Database Depot is a long-term process. This activity is associated with a comprehensive and synchronous digital transformation on all three platforms including digital government, digital economy and digital society. Therefore, this activity requires perseverance and the cooperation of all sectors, levels and digital technology businesses to accompany the provincial authority.

The Department of Information and Communications will assume the prime responsibility for implementing and coordinating with other departments, branches and localities to promote propaganda and guide the use of digital platforms; strictly comply with regulations on receiving, processing and responding to complaints from people and businesses through interactive channels in the digital environment; review, perfect, operate and expand intelligent operating supervision services; advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue regulations, regulations, and allocate resources to maximize the effectiveness of the IOC Center and the Shared Database Depot.
