S’tem is a wastewater treatment company with its headquarters in Nagoya City, Japan. The company was established in 1970 with a capital of 70 million Yen and has 410 employees (including 270 engineers). Currently, the company manages and operates more than 50 wastewater treatment units in Japan and several other countries.
Long An Province and S'tem Company have been connected since 2016. The company has participated in investment promotion conferences organized by Long An province in Japan. It has also joined the delegation of Japan Trade Promotion Agency to introduce Japanese wastewater treatment technology in Long An.
In 2018, S’tem Company trained wastewater treatment techniques for technicians of enterprises and industrial parks in Long An province.
Director of Long An Department of Foreign Affairs and the President of S’tem Company sign a cooperation agreement
At the conference, Director of Long An Department of Foreign Affairs - Do Thanh Son and the President of S’tem Co., Ltd.- Shiozaki Atsuka signed a cooperation agreement on a wastewater treatment trainee program.
Accordingly, Long An province will recruit candidates to practice at S’tem Company. The internship period is 4 years. The policies for Vietnamese employees are similar to the Japanese employees of the company.
The first candidates of Long An province will come to Japan to learn Japanese in October 2019 to be able to practice at S’tem in October 2020.
The delegation visits S’tem Company's wastewater treatment plant
On the same day, the delegation also visited S’tem Company's wastewater treatment plant in Nagakute city, Aichi prefecture and worked with ZEN Japanese Language School in Nagoya City.
On September 5, the delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Vietnamese Embassy in Tokyo and met Vietnamese businesses in Japan./.
