On the afternoon of December 23, the Provincial People's Committee and the Steering Committee for State Budget Collection of Long An province held a conference to review and evaluate the results of State budget collection in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025.

In 2024, the total estimated State budget revenue of the whole province is 25,800 billion VND, reaching 122.1% of the Central estimate and 121.2% of the assigned local estimate. Of which, revenue from the Tax sector reachs 21,650 billion VND and revenue from the Customs sector reachs 4,150 billion VND.

According to the Director of the Provincial Tax Department - Nguyen Van Thuy, in 2024, 17/17 tax revenues reachs and exceeds the Central estimate, including some large revenues such as land use fees reaching 179.4%; revenue from lottery reaching 118.4%; revenue from state-invested enterprises reaching 117%. Regarding the local budget, 16/17 areas have achieved and exceeded tax revenue.

In 2025, a year of special significance, the province is focusing its efforts and determination to successfully carry out the dual task of exceeding the targets of the Party Committee Resolution in 2025 and successfully organizing Party Congresses at all levels. Therefore, in implementing the targets of the Provincial Party Committee's Resolution in 2025, the province strives for a total state budget revenue of 30,000 - 35,000 billion VND. To achieve this goal, the whole province must consistently view state budget collection as a common task of the entire Party and people in mobilizing revenue sources, meeting the spending needs of the state budget for investment and development of the province.
