Meaning of symbols at roundabout of Ward 5 and Park of Ward 2, in Tan An city
Recently, Tan An city has completed lots of works, which carry a meaningful and realistic message adhering to the motto of the XIth Provincial Party Congress for tenure 2020 - 2025. Among these constructions, the symbol at the roundabout of ward 5 is taken from the image of "Vietnamese bamboo trees" and the symbol of "Upward spiral of growth" at the Park of ward 2.

According to Head of Tan An's propaganda and training commission - Nguyen Thi Ngoc Du, the symbol at the roundabout of ward 5 is suggested by the image of “Vietnamese bamboo tree”. For ages, bamboo tree has always associatively become a sacred representation in the Vietnamese spiritual life. The figure of sophisticated bamboo trees linked together by sharply-cut nulgar bamboo trees convey a reunited toughness, the significant resilience to overcome hardships and burdensome challenges, to form a forever sustainable development of Tan An city.
Besides, the bamboo-like symbol is surrounded by five stretching branches alike a five- petal yellow star standing for 5 classes: officers, industrial workers, farmers, businessmen and soldiers, they together evolve in a firm solidarity.
The symbol's underneath is embellished with a five-petal lotus, a type of flower representing the invincible vitality, tenacity and determination of Vietnamese people. The light magenta portrays the elegant and bucolic beauty but full of Vietnamese's dignity and hospitality.
The "Vietnamese Bamboo trees" symbol situated at the entrance of Tan An city is a motto affirmed by the Tan An City Party Committee, authority and citizens to cooperatively shape vivid progress of the city in the age of industrialization and modernisation of the nation, to make innovative movements with the purpose of maintaining acelerated and steady development.

In accompany with the symbol of "Vietnamese bamboo trees" at the roundabout of Ward 5, the "Upward Spiral of Growth" located at the park of Ward 2 is one of the key works of the Congress of Tan An city Party Committee in 2015 - 2020 tenure.
The "Upward spiral of growth" depicts the rising of a youthful city in the phase of global integration and development, symbolises the activeness and courage to conquer challenges, to reach beyond limits and cooperatively orientate Tan An city towards friendly, civilized and modern urbanisation, it also represents the desire to advance and enhance Tan An citizens' life.

The two symbols "Vietnamese bamboo trees" at the roundabout of Ward 5 and "Upward spiral of growth" at the Park of Ward 2 are exquisitely, coordinately designed and they grow more impressive and gleaming at night.
