Meeting to discuss some contents for extraordinary meeting of Long An People's Council

Accordingly, delegates contributed and commented on some contents to be approved at the meeting: Report on amendments and supplements to the list of charge, fee rate (%) left from the charge source in the province issued together with Resolution No. 36/2016/QN-HDND dated December 7, 2016 of the provincial People's Council; Report on the policy of changing forest use purposes in the province; Report on counterpart funding for cooperatives participating in a sustainable agriculture conversion project in Vietnam of Long An province (VnSAT); Report specifying the number of deputy police chiefs and police officers in the province.

In addition, during the meeting, the Department of Home Affairs reported to the provincial People's Committee and the Standing Committee of the provincial People's Council to consider the content to submit to the provincial People's Council for approval of the Resolution approving the policy of arranging communal administrative units in the province at the next extraordinary People's Council meeting.

The Department of Home Affairs also proposed the provincial People's Committee report to the provincial People's Council to adjust and promulgate a general resolution "Resolution approving the policy of arranging commune-level administrative units in the province" instead of the two originally proposed resolutions including: Resolution on approving the Project on arranging administrative units of My Binh commune of Tan Tru district and Resolution approving the Project on arranging of administrative units of communes of Tan Lap and Long Thanh of Thu Thua district./.
