Mission of Navy Region 2 returned to mainland after visiting, wishing cadres, soldiers of DK1 rig house a happy Tet
Taking a 16-day journey (December 29, 2019 - January 13, 2020), on January 13, the Mission No. 2 (on KN-263 ship) visited and wished cadres and soldiers of DK1 rig house a happy Tet, the duty ships of Con Dao district have returned to the mainland safely and successfully.
Due to high waves and strong winds, goods are transported to the rig by wire
Taking a journey of hundreds of nautical miles, the mission went to the group of DK1 rig houses including Phuc Nguyen, Tu Chinh and Ca Mau shoals. Due to the conditions of high waves and strong winds, the delegation could only visit the DK1/10 rig house to directly visit and wish officers and soldiers a happy Tet. The rigs of DK1/15, DK1/14, DK1/12, DK1/11, the mission could not get to the rig house, therefore they should carry out the plan of presenting gifts via wires, wishing a happy new year through radios.

On behalf of the Party Committee, the Command of Navy Region 2, the head of the mission extended all officers and soldiers of the DK1 rig house their best greetings and wishes, especially always guarding the sovereignty of the Fatherland with the spirit of happy spring, keeping guns hard and not forgetting the mission.
Only DK1/10 rig house is reached by the mission by wire to directly visit and wish the officials and soldiers a happy Tet
In addition, during this mission, the delegation held a memorial service for the heroic martyrs of the DK1 rig house who died on the southern continental shelf of the country; visited Hang Duong cemetery in Con Dao district; visited and wished a happy Tet to the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and armed forces of Con Dao district; and the radar station 590 of the Regiment radar station 251 in Con Dao district.
