The machine is worth nearly 200 million VND, with a capacity of 2 tons per day and night, a loss of 10 – 20 percent depending on the type of honey. The machine operates effectively, has an automatic setting mode, operates all day and night. After being hydrolyzed with high viscosity, honey is not fermented and concentrated when it is kept the refrigerator.

Facility owner - Bui Minh Quang said: "My hometown is in Cai Lay district of Tien Giang province, my family have kept bees for a long time so I have a passion for learning about bees and love my job. I know that honey in some establishments has not been well preserved, consumers store honey in the refrigerator so it is crystallized or the honey is easily damaged and metamorphosed when it is kept near places with high temperatures”.

Since the hydrolysis machine was equipped, honey of Quang Vinh facility is favored by customers; Friends and beekeepers from many places inside and outside the province, even in An Giang, Kien Giang, and so on also come to process honey. In addition to looking after 3 herds of bees, Mr. Quang often works with his family on processing honey for guests. In the busiest season, Quang Vinh facility has more than 1,000 boxes of bees and employs more than 10 workers.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Nhon, living in Cai Lay district, Tien Giang raises more than 200 boxes of bees in Tan Thanh district, informed: “After processing honey at Quang Vinh facility, honey is much higher quality, trusted to use by customers ".

Director of Long An Department of Rural Development and Irrigation - Vo Kim Thuan commented: “In 2019, Quang Vinh Facility was supported with honey hydrolysis machine. This is a model for farmers to learn and apply in order to improve product quality and create competitiveness in the market. In the coming time, the department will review, preliminarily review and continue to replicate this model”.

With the efforts to improve the product quality, the facility’s honey was honored to be certified by the Thanh Hoa District People's Committee as a typical rural industrial product at the district level. On May 31, the product is also displayed at the ceremony of the Chau Thanh District New Rural Ceremony held in Tam Vu townlet.
