Movement for environmental protection, anti-plastic waste, waste collection and treatment launched
Under the direction of Long An Provincial People's Committee, on November 28, Department of Natural Resources and Environment coordinated with Tan An City People's Committee to organize a conference to deploy the plan to implement the launching ceremony of the movement for environmental protection, anti-plastic waste, waste collection and treatment in the area.

According to the plan, in December 2019, Long An People's Committee will hold a ceremony to launch the movement for environmental protection, anti-plastic waste waste collection and treatment in the area. The provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to lead and coordinate with the People's Committee of Tan An City and other departments and agencies to discuss the implementation plan and advise the provincial People's Committee to implement the program effectively.
A meeting organized to deploy the implementation plan of the launching ceremony
Accordingly, the program of the launching ceremony included such activities as hanging propaganda banners, widely broadcasting on the mass media, launching campaign, marching, collecting waste, cleaning ecological environment at the organization place, planting and caring green trees.
It is expected that the launching ceremony will be held at Tan An City Park with about 800-1,000 delegates attending, from 500 to 600 people will particiate in a parade and 2,000 trees will be planted at Can Dot Secondary School (Ward 6, Tân An city).
The Director of Long An Department of Natural Resources and Environment - Vo Minh Thanh emphasized that the Department of Coordination of Tan An City People's Committee and the provincial Youth Union reviewed the preparation process and plan, agreed the plan in detail and implemented the task of each unit to implement. It is believed that the upcoming launching ceremony will be effective as required.
Together with the organized plan of the provincial People's Committee, localities will also hold a ceremony to launch the environmental protection movement, anti-plastic waste and collect and treat waste in their management localities./.
