Currently, the situation of Covid-19 epidemic in Long An province is very complicated and unpredictable, the number of Covid-19 cases has increased rapidly recently, especially there have been many cases infecting in enterprises, industrial parks and clusters, etc. Facing the above situation, Long An has implemented social distancing according to Directive No. 16/CT-TTg dated March 31, 2020 by the PM in Tan An city and districts of Duc Hoa, Ben Luc, Can Duoc and Can Giuoc from 0:00 on July 8, 2021; The remaining localities implement social distancing according to Directive No. 15/CT-TTg dated March 27, 2020 by the PM.

The Long An People's Committee has issued Official Letter No. 6619/UBND-VHXH dated July 11, 2021 requesting companies and enterprises in the province to temporarily suspend operations from 0:00 on July 13, 2021 to develop a plan to arrange dining venues and resting places for workers at the company according to the motto "3 on site” - production on the site, eating on the site and resting on the site". Companies and businesses that do not meet the motto "3 on site" are forced to suspend their operations.

Because July 11, 2021 is a Sunday, the information to companies and businesses has not been timely; In order to create conditions for companies and businesses to have time to prepare, the Long An People's Committee agreed to postpone the implementation time to 0:00 on July 13, 2021. From 00 o'clock on July 13, 2021, Long An will strictly control all vehicles and people traveling among areas in Long An and provinces bordering Long An, except for special cases due to public on-duty reasons, cases of providing food, foodstuffs, necessary necessities, vehicles transporting production materials, so on and other activities according to the coordinated plan or announcement of the People's Committees of the provinces and cities.

The Long An People's Committee will notify and request the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh Province, the People's Committee of Tien Giang Province, and the People's Committee of Dong Thap Province to notify the companies and enterprises in the area (that employ workers living in Long An) must proactively arrange a place to eat and rest for workers at the company according to the motto "3 on the site" mentioned above in order to stabilize production and ensure safety for Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control.
