Tay Ninh province popularizes on border, territory

The conference was attended by leaders from Long An, Tay Ninh and Binh Phuoc provinces.

At the conference, leaders from the National Border Committee presented some basic information about policies of the Party and State about settlement of the East Sea issues and border landmarks between Vietnam and Cambodia.

As of October 2018, Vietnam and Cambodia have demarcated 928.9 out of 1,137 kilometers of border line and built 315 out of 371 major milestones.

In March, the two sides agreed with building two legal documents to record results obtained in demarcating and setting up milestones.

In addition, two countries are negotiating about border gate planning and development in the mainland to serve economic development and cargo import export and facilitate travel of goods and residents.

Currently, there are ten international border gates, ten major border gates and 29 auxiliary border gates between the two countries./.
