The new service will be operational with 7 flights per week, using Airbus 321 aircraft. Flights will depart from Da Nang at 12.20 am.m and Osaka at 9.30 a.m. Travel time will be 4 hours 30 minutes.
The new air route is the eleventh from Vietnam to Japan to be directly operated by Vietnam Airlines, including routes from Hanoi, HCM City and Da Nang City to Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka.
The promotional tickets of the new route will be available from now until September 30. A one-way ticket costs VND5,899,000 (US$249). The special price is applied for flights departing from October 28-December 31.
On this occasion, the airlines has also launched a promotional program, offering 1,000-2,000 bonus miles for members of VNA's Golden Lotus Program when purchasing tickets on Da Nang-Osaka route from January 28, 2018 - January 31, 2019.
Vietnam Airlines is currently the largest carrier operating direct flights between Vietnam and Japan with an average of 70 regular flights per week. Since the first direct flight operated in 1994, Vietnam Airlines' passenger volume has reached 11.3 million passengers, accounting for 65 percent of market share./.
