Ben Tre Village (Bentre Comunidad) was officially named Ben Tre Province of Vietnam on December 20, 1969 according to the decision of Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro to honor the first revolution province in South Vietnam.

"CASA VIETNAMITA" (Vietnam House) is the heart of the village, like a small museum, built in September 1975 to celebrate the liberation of the South and the reunification of Vietnam under the initiative of Cuban heroine Melba Hernandez - then President of the Cuban Committee for Solidarity with Vietnam.

The house is based on the version of Uncle Ho's stilt house. The floor is made entirely of wood and bamboo, the roof is thatched, inside there are many images of the solidarity and friendship between the people of the two countries and many souvenirs from Vietnam. Inside the house there are rich displays about leaders Ho Chi Minh, Fidel Castro, images of General Vo Nguyen Giap, Che Guevara, Nguyen Van Troi and Dinh Nup.

The delegation presents gifts to schools in Ben Tre Village. The gifts include plastic food trays for students, essential school supplies such as pencils, erasers, rulers, candy and cash.
