Vietnamese Talent Awards 2019 launched

With the theme “The Strength of Digital Transformation”, this year’s awards have affirmed the importance of keeping up to date with IT products and the application of the latest technologies. This is necessary in order to stay abreast of the current trends in digital transformation as well as contributing to creating smart products and applications for the development of the digital economy.

Notably, in 2019, for the first time in 14 years, the awards will receive incomplete entries, which can be in the form of demo ideas with the desire to be developed and marketed. This is a great opportunity for startups that have not met the necessary requirements to complete their products.

In particular, the award in the field of information technology (IT) has three main product systems: Prospective digital products; Connected and mobile IT products; start-up IT products.

In each IT product system, the contestants will have the opportunity to receive one first prize worth VND200 million, one second prize worth VND100 million and one third prize worth VND50 million, along with other valuable prizes from funding agencies.

This year's awards will also honour outstanding products in IT, science and technology, environment, medicine, with further prizes to promote talent.

The competition’s ceremony is scheduled to be held in Hanoi on November 20./.
