15th meeting of provincial People's Council session IX: First paperless meeting
On July 17, Long An provincial People's Council, session IX, the term of 2016 - 2021, opened the 15th session (the mid-term meeting of 2019). A special point of this session is that the delegates did not use paper documents as before.
Delegates look up documents on tablets
A new point in the activities of delegates at this meeting session is to promote the application of information technology according to the current general trend. Accordingly, the provincial People's Council representatives will access and exploit documents on tablets. Specifically, each delegate is equipped with a tablet, a separate account and uses this account to access electronic documents.
Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council - Pham Van Ranh said that this was the first meeting of the provincial People's Council to apply a paperless meeting session, the application of information technology will help to save costs and help delegates easily research, look up and store documents. Because of the first time, the delegates of the provincial People's Council will surely have some difficulties, they have an active and dynamic spirit to innovate and overcome the obstacles of technical manipulation to access and effectively apply information technology into operating the meeting./.
