Absolutely do not let epidemic after epidemic occur in the province

Long An province has not reported any cases of Covid-19, the total number of concentrated quarantine cases so far is over 1,500. The whole province has deployed 18 isolated concentrated areas, of which 7 areas have been put into use. Other concentrated isolated areas are also in the position ready to be activated upon request. In addition, the Provincial People's Committee also issued Decision 3220/QD-UBND dated September 10, 2020, approving 7 fee-based accommodation establishments for expert isolation.
From May 3 to November 11, the province recorded 189 cases of returning to Vietnam from Cambodia and China by trails, openings, and rivers without medical declaration.
The Department of Health established an interdisciplinary inspection delegation on Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control to inspect and sanction violating establishments on Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control in the province. Hospitals are ready to receive treatment, are implementing diversion, screening and quarantine immediately.
Delegates propose ideas for effective disease control
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa praised all levels and branches for the coordination and good control of the epidemic situation in the province. However, the whole province is not subjective or neglectful; proactively have a response scenario when an epidemic occurs; it continues to mandatorily deploy wearing of face masks, hand washing, temperature check at crowded places and public transport. Medical examination and treatment establishments strictly observe the separation, screening and isolating treatment to prevent transmission in the hospital; to fully prepare drugs, chemicals, materials, equipment, human resources to ensure treatment and anti-epidemic.
In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to strictly control trails and openings; closely check the registrant to stay at hotels and motels; pay attention to timely and accurate propaganda and do not cause confusion for the people.
Particularly, all levels and sectors need to be proactive, strengthen disease control, absolutely prevent epidemics from occurring because some epidemics appear in cattle and poultry in the province, dengue fever also develops complicatedly, etc./.
