The cooperative has registered trademarks and traceability, and has its own labels for products.

Thanks to actively promoting the brand, up to now, the cooperative's products have been present in many places on the market inside and outside the province. On average, every year, the cooperative supplies supermarkets and industrial kitchens with 1,300 tons of all kinds of vegetables and fruits, achieving a revenue of 12-13 billion VND, creating jobs for many local workers. Promoting the achieved results, in the 2023-2028 term, the cooperative strives to increase the area of clean vegetable and fruit cultivation to 52 hectares, with annual revenue reaching about 20 billion VND, equivalent to 1,900 tons of vegetables and fruits. The whole province currently has more than 1,250 cooperative groups, 312 cooperatives and 5 cooperative unions. As a cooperative specializing in the production of leafy vegetables and coriander, Phuoc Hoa Safe Vegetable Cooperative (Phuoc Van commune, Can Duoc district) currently has 58 members with a production area of over 16,000 m2. April 11 marked two important events for the Vietnamese cooperative movement. The Executive Committee of the Vietnam Cooperative Union, term IV, term 2010-2015, agreed to submit and receive approval from the Prime Minister to take April 11 as Vietnam Cooperative Day (Decision No. 1268, July 27, 2011).

Applying science and technology in production

Cooperatives are collective economic organizations that receive attention and support from the Party and State. Besides the advantages, many established cooperatives have a low starting point, lacking in materials, infrastructure, and operating capital.

Realizing these common difficulties, Cay Trom Agricultural Trading Service Cooperative (Hung Dien A commune, Vinh Hung district) set out a development direction and plan to promote production mechanization and scientific technology application in farming. The closed rice production process from services, inputs and output links of the cooperative was formed.

Currently, 90% of the production land of Cay Trom Agricultural Trading Service Cooperative (Hung Dien A commune, Vinh Hung district) is mechanized, meeting large crop production needs.

Director of Cay Trom Agricultural Trading Service Cooperative - Bui Van Tuan informed: From a small, isolated, backward production area, members unanimously agreed to build electric pumping stations, machinery, equipment, and research composting organic fertilizer from water hyacinth to improve soil, etc. Up to now, the cooperative has built a complete, modern, mechanized production process and especially a 100% safe and closed production process for members, aiming at high quality rice products. Thereby, helping members reduce investment costs and increase profits.

Currently, 90% of the cooperative's production land is mechanized, meeting large seasonal production. In recent years, the cooperative has focused on producing safe rice, 90% of current rice output is of quality to enter the European market. "Each member participating in the cooperative is guaranteed input and output, without worrying about the situation of "high harvest, low prices" and vice versa. The cooperative's policy will reduce fertilizer and medicine costs for members by 5%. In addition, pumping, irrigation, cutting, pulling, etc services when used by members are also reduced by 5% compared to the market price. The price of rice is 200-300 VND/kg higher than the market " - Mr. Bui Van Tuan said.

Thanks to promoting the spirit of solidarity and creativity, cooperatives are increasingly asserting their brands in the market. The positive changes of cooperatives make an important contribution to promoting local socio-economic development and increasing income for members./.

In 2024, for the first time, Action Month for Cooperatives will be held nationwide from March 29 to April 29 with the theme "For the sustainable development of cooperatives". The purpose of the Action Month is to raise awareness and highlight the sense of responsibility, initiative, innovation, and creativity of the staff, public employees, and workers in the Cooperative Union system; enhance dialogue, introduction, promotion and connection between collective economic organizations and members with other economic sectors; recognize and honor collectives and individuals with many achievements, contributing to the development of the collective economic sector, cooperatives and the Vietnam Cooperative Union system, etc.
