Deputy Standing PM hopes Long An will achieve great result in 2018
Secretary of the Long An Party Committee –Chairman of People’s Council Pham Van Ranh reported the delegation the province socioeconomic development in 2017. As report, economic growth rate amounted 9.53 percent, passed the provincial target; over 19 out of 21 main criteria completed and passed its plan; the average GDP per capita was estimated VND 61million per year.
State budget total collection reached VND 12,300billion, bringing Long An province to list in the group of cities and provinces with state budget collection up to VND 10trillion and leading in the Mekong Delta region in 2017.

Mr. Pham Van Ranh affirmed the achievements have been made thanks to the support from Long An people and former president Truong Tan Sang, Deputy Standing PM Truong Hoa Binh who contributed in the investment in rural infrastructure system to develop its social economic sector.
Mr. Ranh hoped the province would continue receiving the support from all levels and people, contributing to implement the 10th Congress of the Provincial Party.

Mr. Truong Hoa Binh honored Nguyen Van Chieu’s devotion to Long An province in particular and Vietnam in general, wishing the former leader has a healthy to share experience to the party leaders in implementing the provincial social economic development task in the next years.
On the same day, Mr.Truong Hoa Binh and the delegation gave two gratitude houses to policy beneficiary families at Tan Thanh Commune, Moc Hoa district.

The first house worth VND 120million was offered to Mr. Ly Van Ri (1949) and the second one worth VND 140million was presented to Mr. Nguyen Van Hung (1966).
The delegation presents Tet gift packages to disadvantaged households.
Deputy Standing PM Truong Hoa Binh hoped that two houses will help families be able to maintain their stable life and enjoy a happy Tet. The delegation also handed over 200 Tet gift packages to advantaged households in Moc Hoa district, Thai Tri Commune, Thai Binh Commune and Vinh Hung district. Each gift costs VND 1million./.
