Deputy PM gifts poor families in Can Giuoc District

Deputy Standing Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh February 10 paid a visit and presented 1,000 gifts to social, soldiers and police officers and low-income families in the Mekong delta provinces’ Can Giuoc District.

Gifts are worth totally VND800 million ($35,232).

As Tet festival (the Lunar New Year ) is approaching, Mr. Binh wished the Party committee, local government, and residents a happy and wealthy festival.

On the occasion, Saigon Tourist gave VND100 million to Learning Encouraging association in districts Can Giuoc and Can Duoc each.

On the same day, the Deputy PM visited a social house in Can Giuoc District where senior people are residing. He wished elderly people health and happy Tet festival.

Mr. Binh gave gifts and cash of VND500, 000 to senior people. Also, Party Chief Can Giuoc Nguyen Van Thiep presented VND300, 000 to all elderly people in the house./.
