Former State President - Truong Tan Sang surveys to build rural bridges in Kien Tuong town

On November 2, former State President - Truong Tan Sang, Vice Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee - Pham Van Canh and leaders of Kien Tuong town of Long An Province and sponsor unit (Banpu Power Public Company) did a survey to support the construction of rural bridges in the town.

The delegation directly surveyed bridges in 3 communes, including Binh Hiep, Thanh Tri and Binh Tan. The bridges have been degraded, some temporary wooden bridges have rotted, they are not safe for traffic.

After the survey, the delegation agreed to build 6 bridges, the scale of the bridges with a design of 3.5 meters wide, their load of over 5 tons. The total investment of 5 billion VND is sponsored by former President Truong Tan Sang, who has encouraged Banpu Power Public Company (Thailand) to support.

The completion of these transport bridges not only contributes to promoting local socio-economic development, these bridges not only create favorable conditions for people to travel but also plays an important role in national defense and security in border communes of Kien Tuong town./.
