The investment environment has been improved; social security work has been ensured; national defense and security have been maintained; foreign relations have been expanded, building and maintaining a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and developing border.

Speaking at the New Year greetings, Secretary of Long An Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc emphasized that the achievements of the province have a particularly important contribution from the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Long An province and the Central agencies and the two provinces of Svay Rieng and Prey Veng of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
