Leader extends Tet greetings to religious organizations in HCMC, Tay Ninh

Chairman of People’s Committee in Long An Province Tran Van Can extended his Lunar New Year wishes to dignitaries, followers when paying visits to religious organizations in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern province of Tay Ninh on February 5.

A delegation led by the chairman paid visits to  Protestant Church of the south Vietnam in HCMC, Buddhist Sangha and Tay Ninh Holy See. The Chairman commended contributions of religious organizations in the country’s socioeconomic development. He also wished these organizations will have more contributions in next time for strengthening the national solidarity.

On the same day, Chairman Can and the delegation visited former President Vo Van Kiet, former Party Chief HCMC Vo Tran Chi and former deputy chairwoman of Long An People’s Committee Tran Thi Sua./.
