Long An: Culture - Tourism Week organized from September 17 to 21

This is the first time Long An has organized a Culture - Tourism Week in order to diversify activities to stimulate demand, promote and promote Long An's tourism potential and strengths; contribute to the development of Long An tourism; actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the province, integrating with the tourism development trend of the region and the whole country.

The event took place from September 17 to September 21 with many activities such as opening and closing program; incense offering ceremony commemorating the 55th anniversary of Long An province being conferred the title of "Unyielding bravery, the whole people fight against the enemy" (September 17, 1967 - September 17, 2022); Street festival; Street food festival, traditional craft; OCOP product exhibition in Long An province in 2022; Exhibition space - Calligraphy and Don Ca Tai Tu Exchange; Exchange of ethnic art forms; Contest "Vam River Miss" in 2022; Famtrip surveys, introduces products, new tours in Long An; Seminar; Space folk games and rural childhood games; Organizing volleyball exchanges between Long An and other provinces and cities; Running Marathon in response to Long An Culture and Tourism Week 2022, so on.

As expected, the incense offering ceremony to celebrate the 55th anniversary of Long An province being awarded the title of "Unyielding bravery, the whole people fight against the enemy" on the morning of September 17 will have a scale of over 700 people with nearly 300 official delegates. The opening ceremony took place on the afternoon of September 17 with the theme "Long An - Aspiration of the Vam River" with the participation of many level-A stars of Vietnam. The event is expected to have more than 100 newspaper and radio reporters participating in the media and propaganda. The total estimated budget for the event is over 21 billion VND from the budget and socialization.

After listening to the detailed presentation of the plan to organize the Provincial Culture - Tourism Week, the representatives of the departments and agencies had many comments related to logistics, funding, etc.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to be the lead unit, responsible for advising and proposing to the Provincial People's Committee. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed to quickly set up a Steering Committee, make detailed plans for each activity taking place in the event, the preparation work must be carefully prepared, ensuring the event takes place solemnly, safe and effective./.
