Long An has 2 National Typical Rural Industrial Products

The Ministry of Industry and Trade and related agencies hold a Ceremony to honor and hand over the National Typical Rural Industrial Product Certificate in 2019. Long An province has 2 products were recognized as National Typical Rural Industrial Product in 2019, including Elink 30W led luminaire of Sang Viet Manufacturing - Trading Joint Stock Company (Long Hiep commune, Ben Luc district) and Plastic rattan  sofa set of Hoa Thanh Company Limited Long An (Ben Luc town, Ben Luc district).

Accordingly, in 2019, 110 out of 226 products were voted as the National Typical Rural Industrial Product. In particular, Long An registered 4 products and 2 products were honored.

The voting and certification for products consist of 4 levels: District, provincial, regional and national levels. Registered products must be industrial, small-scale industrial products manufactured by rural industrial establishments. They must ensure intellectual property rights and other regulations related to standards of quality and labor safety, food safety and environmental protection.

The ceremony honoring the National Typical Rural Industrial Product is held every 2 years. Thereby, the authorities will have more activities to support businesses to increase the value of goods. At the same time, the program aims to introduce the results of industrial promotion activities in support of rural industrial development, exhibition, display, promotion, introduction and creating opportunities for trade promotion and market expansion, especially the rural industrial products.

This is also an opportunity for enterprises and rural industrial establishments to exchange and share information as well as have solutions to connect the development of production of rural industrial products with the needs of the market./.
