Long An: Nearly 20 enterprises reports Tet bonus, averagely more than 8.2 million VND

There are currently nearly 20 enterprises reporting Tet bonus to employees

On November 27, 2019, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Long An issued a written request to localities and enterprises to report their implementation of the salary policy 2019 and Tet bonus plan for employees.

According to collected data, until December 26, 21 enterprises reported via the model form with 13,536 employees. In particular, 3 state-owned enterprises reported with 155 employees, 2 private enterprises reported with 61 employees and 16 foreign-invested enterprises reported with 13,320 employees.

Deputy Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs - Nguyen Dai Tanh informed that enterprises applied the salary and remuneration policy for employees higher than the minimum salary set by the State in 2019. 

Salary for managerial, executive and highly skilled employees are clearly differentiated form that of direct production employees. The average salary income in 2019 reached more than 7.3 million VND per month, an increase of 5.7 percent compared to 2018.

In particular, state-owned enterprises reached more than 7.5 million VND per month, an increase of 7 percent compared to 2018; private businesses reached nearly VND 6.8 million per month, up 5.3 percent compared to 2018; Foreign-invested enterprises reached more than 7.3 million VND per month, an increase of 5.2 percent compared to 2018.

The highest salary paid to managerial employees from a foreign-invested enterprise is 45 million VND, a State-owned enterprise is 27 million VND, and a private enterprise is 10 million VND.

Also according to Mr. Nguyen Dai Tanh, on December 26, 1 enterprise reported the Tet bonuses in 2020 with 49 employees, the average bonus was 500,000 VND. In addition, 18 enterprises reported the Tet bonus for Lunar New Year 2020 in the model form, with the number of 13,261 employees, with an average bonus of more than 8.2 million VND.

In particular, private businesses 6.9 million VND; foreign-invested enterprises with over 8.2 million VND. The highest level of bonuses for private enterprises is 10 million VND and for foreign-invested enterprises is 45 million VND./.
