Long An People's Council holds final session on March 30

The 26th session is expected to consider and approve 14 socio-economic reports

According to the program, the 26th session, the IXth  provincial People's Council, will be held in one day. In the morning (with live radio and television), the People's Council will review and evaluate the working report for the 2016-2021 term of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Procuracy, the Provincial People's Court, the Standing Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.

At the same time, the Provincial People's Council will consider and decide the reports of the Provincial People's Committee on adding to the local adjustment plan for road transportation development; investing in the project of 3 bridges on Provincial Road (PR) 827E; investment policy of site clearance project to create a clean land fund pairing PR 826D; plan to buy and use Covid-19 preventive vaccine; adding a list of land use purpose change projects and a list of land acquisition projects in 2021; etc.

In the afternoon of the same day, the Provincial People's Council reported the results of discussion at the Delegation team of Provincial People's Council before the meeting. The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee and relevant agencies will receive and explain opinions of the provincial People's Council delegates through group discussions and verification opinions of the Committees of the Provincial People's Council. After that, delegates of the Provincial People's Council continue to discuss on the hall and share experiences through a term of being elected delegates.

At this meeting, the Provincial People's Council will also dismiss, elect additional members of the provincial People's Committee term IX, term 2016-2021 and reward collectives and individuals of the Provincial People's Council who have excellent achievements in their activities of Provincial People's Council term 2016-2021./.
