Long An People's Council approves 62 resolutions at year-end meeting 2020

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council frankly pointed out the shortcomings and limitations in some branches, fields and localities; it deeply analyzed advantages, opportunities and challenges. Since then, it proposed, suggested and set out many important and feasible targets, tasks and solutions for the socio-economic development plan 2021 and the whole period 2021-2025.

With consideration and adherence to practice and compliance with regulations, the Provincial People's Council has highly unanimously approved 62 important resolutions belonging to such 11 groups of issues as general issues of socio-economic development; finance-budget; government's invest; public investment projects and works; land; agriculture and forestry; science and technology; traffic planning, construction planning; healthcare, education, society; naming roads and interior affairs; supervisory activities of the Provincial People's Council.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Council has approved resolutions on the finalization of state budget revenues and expenditures; plan for borrowing and repaying public debt in 2021; public investment plan for 2021 and 5-year period 2021-2025; decided to change the land use purpose, recover land, update land use planning to implement investment projects; for the policy of investing in many projects, public investment projects in the fields of transport, irrigation, education, information technology, etc.

At the same time, the Provincial People's Council has approved many industrial zone construction planning projects; through the high school development project operating in the direction of high quality; to promulgate the Plan for the implementation of the Health-Population Target Program; to set the level of health insurance premium support for multidimensionally poor households who lack other basic social services and near-poor households; the establishment of the office of the National Assembly delegation and the provincial People's Council; naming some roads in the province; etc.

Speaking at the closing session, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc requested to urgently implement the adopted resolutions by the Provincial People's Committee, all levels and branches. He paid attention to information, propaganda, and mobilization of people through and implement together. The provincial People's Council delegates and voters researched and seriously absorbed comments to have more practical solutions to create positive changes in the field of management.
