Of these, the province welcomed 1,200 foreign visitors, up 20 percent against last year to reach tourism turnover of up to VND 48 billion, up 11 percent compared to the same period of last year.

With this result, the tourism sector focused on improving services and introducing historial, cultural relic sites in the province to visitors. In October alone, about 4,000 visitors toured Long An Statue Park locating in Tan An City.

In November, the sector plans to rank tourist accommodations in accordance with the regulation and issue tourist guide licenses to tour guides, aiming to promote profestionally local tourism industry./.
