Investment project to build the inter-commune road of Thuy Tay - Thanh Phu and Thanh Phuoc with the first point adjacent to Nguyen Dinh Chieu street (Thanh Hoa town), the end-point at Xeo Mui canal (Thanh Phu commune) with a total length of 9, 32 kilometers, with 6 bridges (including Duong Van Duong one), total cost of nearly VND 160 billion.

Duong Van Duong bridge connects the two banks of Duong Van Duong canal, between Thanh Hoa town and Thuy Tay commune. In terms of scale, the bridge abutment is constructed of reinforced concrete cement and span structure is made by steel frame combined with slings. Its total length is 195.89 meters. Its width is 3.5 meters, with design load of 5 tons. Total construction investment costs VND 22.8 billion.

This project celebrates the 30th anniversary of the district's establishment, which is expected to be completed on June 5, 2020. When the project is completed and put into use, it will connect trade and travel of people in Thanh Phuoc - Thanh Phu and Thuy Tay communes with the center of Thanh Hoa district. At the same time, it forms a civilized and modern urban face as well as contributes to the socio-economic development of the district./.
