Long An always creates favorable conditions for people to go abroad for labor export, including the nursing industry
Over the past years, Long An has identified labor export as an effective solution in implementing a key program on job creation and poverty reduction. Accordingly, the number of people going abroad for labor export is increasing and mainly concentrates in Japanese markets.
Specifically, in 2017, the province had 371 people exporting labor, including 340 people working in Japan markets, accounting for nearly 92 percent; in 2019, 479 people going abroad for labor export, 426 people working in Japan markets, accounting for 88.8 percent. The labor export in the Japan market is mainly in the light industry and mechanical engineering while the nursing industry only newly developed in 2019.
Mr. Kazuma introduces the center
Mr. Kazuma Saito (representative of Hyogo Center for Foreigner’s Nursing Internship Support) said that Hyogo Center for Foreigner’s Nursing Internship Support has recruited 38 Vietnamese employees who are in need of working at the center, 3 of them are officially working, the rest are completing their file. On average, the center needs to recruit about 60 employees per year. When employees participate in working at the center, they are provided with conditions for professional fostering. The employees are agreed on the salary, the regulations and the contract duration depending on the job before they sign the labor export contract. Most of all, the foreigner’s skill-training regulations also contributes to developing human resources and technology transfer to developing countries.
At the meeting, Deputy Director of Long An Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs - Nguyen Dai Tanh affirmed: “At present, the Provincial Labor Export Project is in the final stage of completion. It is expected that Long An will officially implement this project in 2020. The goal of the project is to bring about 1,000 workers to work abroad each year. Therefore, Long An will always create conditions for laborers in need of going abroad for labor export, including the nursing industry"./.
