On September 20, Long An Provincial People's Committee held a seminar on sustainable tourism development in Long An in the period of 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030. Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc hoped that experts, researchers and leaders of the tourism sector of the provinces would analyze and evaluate typical tourism products to help Long An exploit the province's tourism potential to the fullest.
Long An has a lot of potential for eco-tourism, important revolutionary historical sites, etc. However, the province's tourism sector still has many limitations in terms of investment, facilities, human resources, etc. According to the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Long An's tourism industry is still looking for a development direction.

At the seminar, the experts analyzed Long An tourism including historical - cultural relics; festival tourism; digital transformation in tourism development; building Long An's specific tourism products; the development of apricot village to develop tourism in Long An. The delegates also had opinions on digital transformation; analyze and select tourism products that can be exploited immediately; propose solutions to develop tourism in the future. In which, traffic and facilities for tourism are still the top concerns of travel businesses. Although Long An has potential for eco-tourism, the promotion of tourism development faces many difficulties due to inadequate infrastructure.
