Steering Committee 61 of Phu Yen province exchanges experiences in Long An

Vice-Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee - Pham Van Canh, the Executive Committee of Vietnam Farmer’s Union and relevant departments and branches meet and work with the delegation.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Van Canh gave an overview of the natural conditions and the economic development situation of Long An province to the delegation of Phu Yen province.

Implementing Conclusion 61-KL/TW of the Secretariat on the Project "Enhancing the role and responsibilities of the Vietnam Farmer’s Union in agricultural development, new rural construction and construction of Vietnamese farmer class" in period 2010-2020” in Long An province, the Steering Committee at all levels from the province to the grassroots maintain the routine of activities every quarter, have a working regulation, check and report annually.

Presently, 100 percent of localities in the province has set up a Farmer Fund Mobilization Committee, from which many projects have been invested effectively, many production models have been replicated; coordinated activities are actively exchanged and agreed with the branches by the Executive Committee of the Provincial Association for active implementation and support.

At the meeting, the delegates exchanged and shared experiences about the activities of the Association's work and Steering Committee. The delegation of Phu Yen province thanked Long An provincial leaders for creating favorable conditions for the delegation to visit, study and exchange experiences. Thereby, the two provinces have opportunities to exchange, exchange and learn from experiences in socio-economic development cooperation, as well as build the organization of Farmer’s Union more and more strongly.

On the same day, the delegation visited the model of Phuoc Hoa Safe Vegetable Cooperative in Phuoc Van commune, Can Duoc district./.
