After the bomb attacks, the Indonesia government allowed its competent forces to open fire in order to ensure security.

The Vietnamese Consular Department also recommended that its citizens keep a close watch on the related information, while avoiding or restricting activities at public places in Indonesia to avoid any unfortunate danger or risk until the situation stabilises.

So far, no Vietnamese citizens have been affected in the recent bomb blasts, said the Vietnamese Embassy in Indonesia.

In case of emergency, Vietnamese citizens are recommended to contact the hotline of the Vietnamese Embassy in Indonesia at + 62811161025 or + 62213100358, or email jakarta@ mofa.gov.vn, or call the citizen protection hotline at + 84981848484 for timely assistance./.
