War Remnants Museum named among world’s top 10 by TripAdvisor

The news has been announced lately by TripAdvisor that is one of the world's most popular travel guide and review website.

Founded in 1975, the museum on Vo Van Tan Street in District 3 is a must-see for anyone who wants to know Vietnam’s history.
In the top ten museums in the world, the Vietnam’s museum is the only representative of Asia. TripAdvisor introduces two destinations in Vietnam including the museum and Cu Chi Tunnel with the cost of $45 per person.

Musee d'Orsay in Paris dominates the list of top 10 museums picked by the U.S. travel website whereas the famous Louvre was ranked seventh. Most of museum in the list are in Europe and North America.

The War Remnants Museum has over 20,000 artifacts, images and documentaries that relive the atrocities, including war crimes perpetrated by colonial and imperial forces, and millions of Vietnamese suffer the consequences to this day.

The list takes into account the quality and number of traveler reviews and ratings published on its website over a 12-month period./.
