16th session of IXth Long An Provincial People's Council to approve about 20 resolutions

Standing Vice Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Thanh Cang chaired the meeting to review the content, agenda of the 16^th session - the IX^th Provincial People's Council

The provincial People's Committee is going to submit to the provincial People's Council for consideration and issue resolutions on the detailed assignment of medium-term public investment plans of the central budget capital of the period 2016 - 2020 and 2019 for the expansion and upgrading of Vietnam's urban area - Tan An City sub-project; the 2^nd phase of secondary education development program of the province, and sustainable agricultural transformation (VnSAT).

At the same time, the provincial People's Committee is going to propose issuing resolutions on the investment policy of the project to purchase equipment for schools that registered to meet the National standards in 2020; approving the scheme on the arrangement of communal administrative units in the period of 2019 - 2021, the general construction planning along the main axis connecting Ho Chi Minh City - Tien Giang - Long An, the policy of changing the purpose of forest use in the province, and so on.

The provincial People's Council is going to dismiss the IX^th Member of the Provincial People's Committee (term 2016 - 2021) for former Director of Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, former Director of Department of Planning and Investment; additionally elect Member of Provincial People's Committee, term IX, 2016 - 2021 for Director of Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs./.
