15th meeting session of People's Council of Long An province approves 24 important Resolutions

At this meeting, the Provincial People's Council evaluated objectively and comprehensively the achievements as well as shortcomings and limitations of some fields; set out key solutions for socio-economic development tasks in the last 6 months of the year.

Delegates of the Provincial People's Council directly questioned the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of related departments and agencies on security and order, law violations and crimes; environmental protection in industrial parks and clusters, residential areas and garbage dumps; and investment attraction, the handling of projects that are slow to implement associated with the responsibility of administration and management. 

Delegate raised questions at the meeting

The meeting approved 24 important resolutions on policies to support agricultural production, tuition, public investment, land, staffing, and so on.

Delegates voted by an electronic system

These resolutions have an important role in timely concretizing the guidelines and resolutions of the Party, policies and laws of the State. They are also suitable for the actual situation of the province. Thereby, all levels and sectors develop programs, plans to implement, contributing to the achievement of targets in 2019 and the following years.

At this meeting, the provincial People's Council dismissed the position of Head of the Legal Board of the Provincial People's Council of Mr. Le Son Ha and the position of Member of the provincial People's Committee of Mr. Tran Minh Man and Mr. Phan Nhan Duy due to changing other duties.

At the same time, Mr. Tran Minh Man was elected to the position of Head of the Legal Board of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Vo Minh Thanh - Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment became a member of the Provincial People's Committee, the term of 2016 - 2021.

Besides, the Standing Committee of the provincial People's Council, Boards of the provincial People's Council, delegates of People's Council, People's Committee and branches focus on effectively implementing the Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council.

At the same time, officials, soldiers, people, and enterprises should strive to complete the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Council in 2019 to create a foundation for the following years./.
