"Absolutely not neglect in the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic" was the issue of Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 epidemic prevention - Vu Duc Dam emphasized during his inspection visit to the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemics in Long An province on November 23.

According to the report of the Provincial People's Committee, up to now, the whole province has not recorded any cases of Covid-19 disease; the number of isolated cases is over 6,500, in which the number of isolated cases is concentrated over 1,900 (currently the number of isolated cases is over 400). The whole province has deployed 18 isolated concentrated areas, of which 7 ones have been put into use. Long An always ensures sufficient materials and means for concentrated isolation according to regulations; other conditions are also absolutely guaranteed to meet the isolation of the organization in all situations.
Provincial Military Command and Provincial Public Security, Provincial Border Guard Command and functional agencies strictly inspect border lines. Health facilities are also ready to receive treatment as assigned by the Department of Health and are dividing, screening and quarantining immediately.

Through actual inspection at schools, medical facilities, members of the Steering Committee highly appreciated Covid-19 epidemic prevention of Long An province. At the same time, the province should pay attention to disease prevention in the health system, especially the Emergency Rehabilitation Department and the Kidney Department in hospitals. Hospitals, medical facilities, especially small-scale clinics, schools, accommodation establishments, factories, etc. should self-assess the level of disease safety. At the same time, the province should make efforts to propagate and complete the update of anti-epidemic maps (www.antoancovid.vn) as soon as possible.
